Hey Trevy.
First of all thanks for auditioning.
And you are not late, you can do your audition at anytime on the forum.

Now to your video:

1. Flow/Scene Selection
2. Effects/Transitions

First of all i will give you a comparison of two scenes in your video.

0:12 - 0:17 : You created there a really good mood. So you have the potential to create a fitting mood. You respected the lyrics of the song: Naruto looks mad and the song says: "There's gotta be another way out....I've been stuck in a cage with my doubt"
This fits the scene really great.

The problem is that your whole video (except the nartuo scene) looks like you choosed some random scenes and created a video with it. After the scene where naruto is lying on the bed, you switched to another "story": Sasuke and Itachi.
I don't see a connection between both scenes.

Effects: Blur, Brightness/Contrast

Your video is a clean edit and you choosed only one effect, which is blurring.
You used the blur on fitting scenes.
Same goes to B/C.


Transitions:

You used simple, but effective transitions which are fitting the song.
So the transitions were really good.

You can maybe add a fitting CC (Color Correction).

In my opinion you tried to create a storyline, which is based on the whole naruto story which contains the main stories.
The problem was, that you switched to often from scene to scene (story to another story).
You should create a story syntax, for example: Naruto is young and he becomes stronger and older in your video.

You used an acceptable quality footage, but the volume of the song was very quietly.

You have a really good potential to become a good clean drama editor.
But you should work on your flow.
For a drame editor, the most important skill is the flow.
Unfortunately my answer is no, but keep up your work and try it in a couple of months again!

P.S. : That was just my opinion about your video, if you think your video is good then it is good. It is your video and not mine.

Thanks for auditioning again.

Flow/Scene Selection:

Flow was good to ok. Your Scene Selection was good.

Effects/Transitions:

You used a MBL CC, B/C, Pan/Crop and Blur.
Your transitions were very good,and your video has a smooth influence.
Your using of B/C was ok, but not fitting to the CC.
The Shakes and Masks are good.
The only problem here was your CC. The CC destroyed the quality of the footage.

Overall:
Your video was good, but you should definitely work on your color correction.
And be creative, you can use some stuff which the most editors don't use.

The following analysis is referring from 0:29 to 1:12, because the beginning was more an action edit than a drama edit.

Flow/Scene Selection:

Your flow in the video is very vary.
I will give you an example;
The scene from 0:44 to 0:48 fits the song very good. You respected the timing and created a cold mood.
At 1:02 you switched from Naruto to another anime.
It destroyed the flow, because the mood switched from this cold atmosphere to an warm mood (You can prevent this with using a fitting CC).
But the flow on the Naruto scenes were really good.

Effects/Transitions

The transition were fitting the song and you did a good masking.
It was a clean edit.


Storyline

You showed me that you are able to follow a storyline.
You created a little storyline with Naruto & Sasuke at some points.

Quality

Quality was good to ok.

Overall

Try to create a storyline and try use only 1 or 2 anime's per video.
In my opinion you have really potential to be a good drama editor.

Your CC was okay but you shouldn't use more then one.
I felt like some transition were to hard but it was good overall.
The Masks were pretty nice.
I think you shouldnt use overlays like at 0:18 because in my opinion they are useless


Overall:

I think you have some potential but you still need to improve more to join our team so my answer for now is no.
